Donations
Everyone has their own wish list, and this trip was on my “wish list” for over 10 years. I feel very fortunate to have been able to take this trip, but for children with life-threatening medical conditions, it’s not so easy (to say the least) to take a trip of a lifetime, or meet their favourite celebrity, etc.
For this reason, my company is a National Partner with Make-A-Wish® Canada.
Because of this partnership, I wanted to use this trip to promote Make-A-Wish®, encouraging people who are inspired to make a donation to this very special cause. All costs associated with my trip were completely my own, so 100% of all donations go directly to Make-A-Wish®!
My goal was to raise $30,000.00 over my 30-day trip, and with the trip now wrapped up, I’m pleased to report that we significantly exceeded my goal, with the donation total currently sitting at over $44,000.00.! Here’s a breakdown:
